The Junk Sale 1

I did my master thesis in philosophy on Hegel. In one of his chapters in the Phenomenology he remarks on the efforts of people in his time who are searching for the historical Jesus. And what do they find? Bones and dust. And that is what I have come to when I try to make some sense out of this world. Bones and dust. Sounds like despair. But one must beĀ  honest with oneself as the end draws nearer and darkness seems close by. It does not serve anyone to pretend that the world is something other than what you see. Its not that there isn’t great beauty in the world, that truth doesn’t exist in time. But what of things outside time? What about after the world? Both on a personal level and a larger more philosophic state.
