Pain becomes ever present, unrelenting

May 19, 2011

A colleague at work was talking to me today about her divorce. $70,000 plus pain and still counting. She is damaged. Only time heals these wounds. Without taking sides I have noticed how immature people become under the stress of breakups. It is as if we return to childhood and pain becomes ever present, unrelenting. As a stranger, there is nothing you can do to help, nothing you can say. Only listen.
